Bubba Silicone face appliance made with Ecoflex 20
Bubba Silicone faces painted with dragon skin thinned with NoVocs from Reynolds and pigmented with my Dry Cosmetic Pigment no 7
Bubba Silicone face with hair added. Punched using needles from makeup-fx.com. I pinned the face to a styrofoam board and punched through easily. Bubba was always wearing a hat so I didn't punch any forehead hair.
Bubba silicone cowl with hair. Again, Bubba was always wearing a hat so no hair was needed on the top of the head.
The cowl blended into the face so during the application the face pieces were attached and blended into the cowl and the hair combed over the blend. The face was applied with a combibation of Ecoflex and Plat cat with my Silicone Adhesive for touch up.
The finished Bubba with finger extensions "gettin' his bark on". After hours in the make up room and even more hours on the set he has a lot to howl about. Fred was a real trooper!
Karyna Martinez was on set through the entire production making sure Bubba was at his best. |
