| The first water based cap vinyl. After years of
making plastic caps with hazardous solvents the era of the "safe" cap
plastic has arrived. Water-Melon is superior to standard cap plastic in
many ways. Thins with water. Edges dissolve with alcohol, not acetone. No solvent vapors.
Water-Melon can be applied directly to the skin like latex and can be
slushed into plaster molds like latex. You can make plastic appliances
from plaster molds whose edges can be dissolved with alcohol. The caps or
appliances made with Water-Melon can be applied WITHOUT ADHESIVE, using 99%
isopropyl alcohol as you would adhesive. Water-Melon can be brushed,
sponged, slushed, or sprayed. About 2 oz. can sponge one cap. No
respirators needed. No haz. mat shipping needed. Can be tinted with our
Water-Melon tints (see below). FDA APPROVED COATING

| Water based FD&C
Cosmetic colors to intrinsically tint our Water-Melon. While most any
water based color can be added to the Water-Melon liquid these are FD&C Certified
colors suitable for cosmetic use. While Water-Melon is intended to be used
clear as a translucent appliance material there may be times when
tinted version is necessary, as when making bald caps, ears, noses, horns or
any hollow appliance where it may rise off the skin and you don't want to see the inside.
When using tinted Water-Melon it may be necessary to use a cosmetic (RMG) to
blend and cover the appliance. We recommend Prosthetic Cosmetic products
available in our Foundation and Airbrush sections.

A completely non-alcohol, non-plastic, all-natural
water/carbohydrate based hair fixer. Formulated specifically for
use under bald caps to flatten hair. Guaranteed not to conflict with Water-Melon or any
alcohol soluble cap material. Highly recommended when using the
Water-Melon bald cap or Alcohol Soluble Bald Cap but can also be used with any bald
cap. Dries to a firm set. Since many hair gels, mousses and sprays
contain alcohol and plasticizers that may weaken alcohol soluble caps
we highly recommend using our exclusive non-alcohol Hair Fix Gel. Washes easily
from the hair during removal. |

A mild adhesive ideal when flattening hair under

These caps are not thick masquerade "skin head" wigs or swim caps but are high quality for use on Stage, studio photography, life casting or anywhere a convincing bald look is needed. They are available in 2 head sizes: small for small adults or children and Large for most adults. Each head size has a nape size available. Short, Med (large only) and Long, to cover the hair in the back.
Our caps have ultra thin edges which yield the finest feather thin edges possible while having a heavy crown which helps hold down thick hair underneath.

Water - Melon plastic caps are the only caps made from
a water based vinyl whose edges can be blended with alcohol for an
imperceptible blend. It is recommended that this cap be applied
WITHOUT ADHESIVE. Using 99% alcohol as you would adhesive will bond the cap
to the skin. Ideal for use on television or film but equally useful for life
casting, demo's, and masquerade since no glue is needed to adhere and no
remover needed to remove. This results in a much better experience for the
subject since it removes almost clean with no adhesive residue. Qualifies for the plastic cap requirement by the IATSE for testing. FDA APPROVED COATING.
Since many hair gels contain alcohol and plasticizers that may weaken
alcohol soluble caps we highly recommend using our exclusive Non Alcohol
Hair Fix Gel (See above) with this cap.
